WHAT KIND OF PROTECTION DOES THE LENS HAVE? HOW DO I CARE FOR AND CLEAN IT?
Protection:
Nike optical-quality lenses provide 100% UVA and UVB protection, safeguarding the eyes against harmful ultraviolet radiation. Nike eyewear meets or exceeds the American Standard ANSI Z80.3-2001, Australian Standard AS/NZS 1067:2003, and Standard EN 1836-1997 in accordance with European Community Directive 89/686/EEC. While Nike Vision polycarbonate lenses are impact resistant, they are not shatterproof or unbreakable. Nike Vision lenses have been specially treated for scratch resistance.
Lens Care and Cleaning:
Do not rest the lenses against any hard surface. Do not leave your eyewear in direct sunlight under high temperatures, such as an automobile dashboard, as this may damage your eyewear. Your Nike soft cloth case or Nike hard case (certain models only) has been designed to protect your eyewear during transport and storage. Always make sure the lenses are free from dust and debris prior to storage.
Rinse all dust and debris from the lenses with lukewarm water and soap. Pat dry with a clean, cotton cloth. For optimal clarity, wipe lenses with a Nike cleaning cloth, using either the dual-purpose soft cloth case/lens cloth, or the microfiber cloth provided in the Nike case (certain models only).
WHAT DO I DO IF MY NIKE SUNGLASSES ARE BROKEN?
Nike Eyewear is specially designed to meet the needs of the athlete. The glasses have a one year performance guarantee on materials and workmanship. Nike does not warrant any lens against scratching.
Warranty:
Nike is committed to deliver quality performance products and guarantees it’s eyewear (‘the Product’) for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
In order to benefit from the above warranty, the purchaser should return the defective Product to the Nike retailer where the Product was originally purchased, together with the proof of purchase. Failure to return the proof of purchase will void any claims under this warranty. If, after inspecting the Product, Nike has determined that the Product is defective, it will repair it or replace it free of charge.
Nike does not guarantee normal wear and tear of the Product. All cosmetic deterioration, including scuffing, staining, and scratches on the Product shall not be considered as defects in materials, manufacturing or workmanship.
This warranty also does not apply to any damage resulting from excessive use, abuse or mishandling, nor to Product purchased as “used” or “substandard”. This warranty is in addition to, and not a modification of, nor a subtraction from, any statutory warranties or other rights available to a purchaser under any applicable legislation. Alterations of any nature made to the Product shall void this warranty.
In no event shall Nike be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the Product, and any recovery is limited to the purchase price. This limitation shall be applicable within the limits set out by mandatory applicable law.
Warning: Nike eyewear provides protection from sun, wind, and moisture and is intended for sport use only. The eyewear is not suitable for night driving or any industrial activity, including welding or torch cutting. The eyewear Is not intended to, and will not protect you from, impacts with hard or soft objects, whether they are stationary or moving.

CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE LENSES?
Nike Eyewear polycarbonate lenses are inherently very strong, impact resistant and are designed to be resistant to breakage. However, they are NOT considered ‘protective eyewear’ by impact standards. Nike eyewear provides protection from sun, wind and moisture and are best suited for running, cycling and similar activities. Nike eyewear is not suitable for night driving or any industrial activity, such as welding or touch cutting, nor will it protect you from impacts from hard or soft objects, whether stationary or moving.
